When is comes to eyeshadow palettes the options are endless and choosing the right one for you can make it stressful. I am here to give you some of the top things to look for when choosing the right one.

1. High pigmentation

Make sure the eyeshadow you are choosing is well pigmented. When applying the shadow the color will pop better and you will not need a ton on your brush when applying to your lid.

2. Neutrals

When shopping for a palette including neutral colors is a must. Of course having fun with your makeup and trying new colors is a good thing, but you will always need neutral colors when you are applying a basic look.

3. Color and Shine

Having a large variety is never a bad thing. When getting creative while doing your makeup you will need colors all across the spectrum. When applying to your lid the lighter shades will be used in the tear duct of your eye and the colors will gradually get darker as you get to the crease and outer part of your eyelid. Shine and glitter is also a must when choosing the right palette. Different fun colors of your choice are also always great to include in the palette you are buying, just as long as they are put to use.

I personally recommend the tartelette toasted palette by tarte in the picture above, when I do my own makeup for the day I like to keep it calm and use mostly natural colors so this palette was an easy choice for me.
